It started as a seedling of an idea that I couldn’t quite see the shape of, and it’s grown into something rich, detailed, and deeply transformational. I had to trust myself every step of the way to get here. Trust that it would unfold in its own time. Trust that it would take the shape it needed to.

A bit of background
After years of working on client brands through my agency, Haycraft Creative, I began to notice a gap. Our clients were asking us to help them with their brand but there was something deeper that wasn’t being addressed. Something beyond establishing the purpose, vision, mission and identity that was missing.
What was missing wasn’t anything to do with brand strategy. It was more to do with creativity, intuition, and a deeper connection to the people they help. It was in their stories✨. The journey that brought them here, the why behind their work, and the way they support the people they are here to help.
I’ve come to understand that when you talk or write about your work, your nervous system can go into overdrive. You feel exposed, unsure. You reach for logic when what’s really needed is creativity. You try to sound clear, but lose your thread and ramble in the process.
That’s where Crafted Roots began.
After a stressful time in my business and feeling lost in my messaging, I found my way back through daily practices that grounded me. I turned to breathwork, meditation, and walks in nature. I started making choices that supported my nervous system instead of draining it. Over time, I rebuilt a version of work that felt more like me.
Bit by bit, I returned to myself.
To my creativity.
To my message.
That’s when I began to notice something…
Brilliant, talented, values-led people all around me were struggling to talk about what they do. They felt stuck and disconnected from their own message. I wanted to help them to get to the heart of their message.
Crafted Roots was born out of that realisation. I now help purpose-driven business owners and entrepenuers find the story they truly need to tell. One that feels honest, aligned, and grounded in who they are.
Because when your message feels true to you and you can own your story, you speak with confidence. And the right people listen.
